Yellow Tulle

I have been obsessed with tissue paper flowers lately but then I realized that I had a ton of tulle hanging around (I was going to make a fabulous prom dress but I never finished it plus it makes me look really well like a cupcake. So I gave up..... Plus I went to prom about 10 years ago.... geez) But I made this super cute little hair thing. No doubt I'll have to make at least 30 for the little girls at school. 

What do you think? now I am mad I spent so much on my jcrew headband. 

oh well you can never have too many accessories.

Flea Market Finds

Today was the most perfect day. I love summer so I was really excited to walk around the Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in the sun this morning. I have been going to the flea market a lot lately. I have been working on a new project lately too and I was inspired by these super cute dishes and cups. I have a bunch more but I haven't taken pictures of them yet. I have been in slow motion lately but I did a few new illustrations which I have to take pictures of.

its 2:11 in the morning

Its 2:11 in the morning and I just got home. I wanted to take pictures today but it was too much. with all the bakes sales and secret planning and all..... I went the the flea market and I got a bunch of great stuff. I got four ice cream chairs they are magnificent there may very well be a before and after in the near future. I also got amazing pink and white dishes that I promise to take pictures of tomorrow. I have been to excited about my plans. I will share them with you soon.  I hope but for today I don't have any pictures. Its a miracle that I married someone who doesn't mind that everything we own happens to be pink and looks like it belongs on a cupcake. 

Just lucky I guess......

I am a Bad Blogger

I have been so busy which is weird because its my week off. Here are a few things I have been doing..... getting massages, visiting friends, planning something exciting (its sort of a surprise) making things, baking, and going thrift store shopping with my sister's beau.

I hope to take some pictures tomorrow but I have a lot of baking to do for the bake sale on Saturday.

Sorry So Late

Sorry I have been missing lately. I have been sick. Sick and busy. But there are some exciting things going on. I have been working on giant tissue paper balls for my Easter celebration. And my friend Rachel from Frog Princess Rachel is hosting a lovely Autism Awareness Bake Sale next Saturday in Woodbury, Ct at the senior center. There will be some lovely gluten free baked goods and allergy free stuff. And also some really nice regular treats as well. Also my husband has been working on recording his first band and it sounds pretty amazing. 

Lets see what else. Oh I am going shopping for lots of things tomorrow

including......

1. Very nice sun hat to protect my super fair face from premature wrinkles. oh an some sunscreen.

3. Some jeans to go with all my cute spring shoes that I can't wear to work at a creative arts preschool cause I will break my neck.

4. Bras and underwear

5. Some more chocolate Easter candy and possible a few little baskets for some of the hoodlums that will be attending my Easter Brunch.

6. Um actually I think that's all I need but I will buy more than that cause I am going to target. 

We will have to see what happens. 

Okay I think that's all. I have the week off so I should probably get some posts up.

Holy Smokes I forgot! I am going for a sweet massage this week and I have to pick up a super cute dress for some one's wedding in May!

plus if all goes well I will post a sort of adapted recipe from Martha Stewart -Macaroons!!!!

and maybe just maybe some chocolate bunny shots. 

Birthday Week

My sister, father and mother all have birthdays within about a week. I have been super busy. A few pictures from last weekend's festivities more partying tonight.

If you knew my family you would know that we have had a long relationship with little marshmallow peeps. So I thought it was fitting to show you these super cute pictures of some little peeps being born. 

Delicious huh? My whole family loves peeps but we like them when they have been out of the package for a long time. I will only eat them if they are hard.

I should also mention that the peppermint peeps are the most awful thing on the planet. 

If you can't find one they all you need to do is run to your bathroom and take some peppermint tooth paste
