A New Project

The past few weeks have been pretty awful...... Quite a few dark clouds have been hanging over me... literally... luckily it has been sunny all weekend which had put me in a slightly better mood. Well not a good mood or anything but a better mood. So my husband got laid off and I got my hours significantly cut.... and I am feeling very sad but trying to make something good of all this junky stuff..... 

I have been making some very cute things lately.....

I hope to launch my Etsy shop later in the week. We will see.......

Yellow Tulle

I have been obsessed with tissue paper flowers lately but then I realized that I had a ton of tulle hanging around (I was going to make a fabulous prom dress but I never finished it plus it makes me look really well like a cupcake. So I gave up..... Plus I went to prom about 10 years ago.... geez) But I made this super cute little hair thing. No doubt I'll have to make at least 30 for the little girls at school. 

What do you think? now I am mad I spent so much on my jcrew headband. 

oh well you can never have too many accessories.
