Yellow Tulle

I have been obsessed with tissue paper flowers lately but then I realized that I had a ton of tulle hanging around (I was going to make a fabulous prom dress but I never finished it plus it makes me look really well like a cupcake. So I gave up..... Plus I went to prom about 10 years ago.... geez) But I made this super cute little hair thing. No doubt I'll have to make at least 30 for the little girls at school. 

What do you think? now I am mad I spent so much on my jcrew headband. 

oh well you can never have too many accessories.

Flea Market Finds

Today was the most perfect day. I love summer so I was really excited to walk around the Elephant's Trunk Flea Market in the sun this morning. I have been going to the flea market a lot lately. I have been working on a new project lately too and I was inspired by these super cute dishes and cups. I have a bunch more but I haven't taken pictures of them yet. I have been in slow motion lately but I did a few new illustrations which I have to take pictures of.

its 2:11 in the morning

Its 2:11 in the morning and I just got home. I wanted to take pictures today but it was too much. with all the bakes sales and secret planning and all..... I went the the flea market and I got a bunch of great stuff. I got four ice cream chairs they are magnificent there may very well be a before and after in the near future. I also got amazing pink and white dishes that I promise to take pictures of tomorrow. I have been to excited about my plans. I will share them with you soon.  I hope but for today I don't have any pictures. Its a miracle that I married someone who doesn't mind that everything we own happens to be pink and looks like it belongs on a cupcake. 

Just lucky I guess......

I am a Bad Blogger

I have been so busy which is weird because its my week off. Here are a few things I have been doing..... getting massages, visiting friends, planning something exciting (its sort of a surprise) making things, baking, and going thrift store shopping with my sister's beau.

I hope to take some pictures tomorrow but I have a lot of baking to do for the bake sale on Saturday.

Here is the cutest thing ever that I want for myself. but maybe we can make one at school.
