Merry Christmas

I am a little late but I hope you all had a magical Christmas. I have been so busy this year that it seemed to have rushed by leaving me slightly behind for at least the last few months. Sort of sad. so I am taking this week to catch up. Wish me luck.

But I painted mine cause I couldn't find any fabric or the shirt I wanted to cut up.... But I think it turned out just fine.

OHHHHH I am MAD today. Fire---rrrryyyyy red hots angry monster kind of thing. Which is lovely cause I started the day so happily with a lot of christmas spirit. Wrapping gifts and listening to music from Elf. but now its gone and I am MAD. 

So instead of doing the 15 things on my list today I am going to make one of these bad boys....

Okay I am bad at posts cause I am too busy this season... but I have made a ton of stuff... all of which I have forgotten to take pictures of. but here is the cutest thing I have seen lately...

Other things I have made are.... Christmas cookies, I had an ornament making party, hand warmers, um ... new hair things. ornaments. I can't think of anything else. But I am super crafty lately. 

Happy Thanksgiving

Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving. I spent all day cooking and I never got to post about Thanksgiving.  

But now is my favorite time. I totally freak people out cause I am super in to Christmas, I have to make up for the years that I didn't like it. I also work with little kids so basically I believe you can't work with little ones and not love the magic of Christmas. Plus do I have to mention all those sparkles? 

so here are some things I am excited about.....

Hot chocolate on a stick..... from here. I made them they are so much fun and really delicious.

Getting my first real christmas tree with the husband.... but he's sort of a grinch so I'll have to bribe him. 

Christmas movies.... especially Elf.

And ornament making parties. I used to love the idea of a cookie swap but I am gluten intolerant so no cookie swaps for me.

Hot air balloons, gluten free pizza, clouds, silence, curls, hot pink lipstick, snugglers, lamps, snowflakes, glitter, cleaning out all the junk, pineapple shampoo, coconut conditioner, a day off in the middle of the week, cake plates, making invitations, my hot glue gun, new pillows from Target, my family, all the dogs and cats, sewing machines, sequins, tulle and new recipes.

So I LOVE The Little Prince... Lauren (my artist soulmate) used to read it to me in art school... all the time. I loved it. so when I found this....

Pumpkin Scones

I found this recipe on The Marvelous Miss Elena Eous Blog... 

it looked too good I couldn't resist. And since we are nearing Halloween I just had to make them. 

I had to adjust the recipe slightly since I am gluten intolerant... but they are yummy... really yummy. I sprinkled mine with cinnamon.... cause I like it. 

and mine are a little messy cause I didn't use a knife to cut them.

I just found these illustrations on this blog (Miettes) I cannot read it and they are from an  illustrator who's name I can't read and who's website I can't read. But they are amazing. 

Illustrations by Mememo? I think. 

They are very inspirational to me. I especially love the colors.  Okay I am off the the beach... I am hoping to have a better day today than yesterday.
