Its 4 in the Morning.

Its 4:53 in the morning I have been up since like 2 am. So I figured I would tell you that I received my sample t-shirts from my Honey and Pig Store. If everything goes right I think it will be finished by Monday!!!! I am soooo excited. its very cute. I will post a photos tomorrow, today I mean. Is it wrong to eat breakfast at 4:56?

I am pretty sure Pauly will not be happy with me if I do that. I am thinking waffles with cocoa and maybe something else. Ideally with bacon and eggs and fruit but more realistically it will just be eggs and spinach or something.

Lots to do today I was feeling pretty yucky all week so I didn't finish all the things I was supposed to do. If I can defrost my hands I may work on some Illustrations for the poem I told you about.

So here's what I have to do today.........
1. Laundry
2. Return some things at some stores.
3. Buy gold paint cause we are making the coolest castle on the entire planet at school......they voted and Golden Castle won by a landslide.
4. Technically... hit the gym. but that might not happen
5. Mall visit to jcrew for 2 headbands. Miss Avril needs one too.
6. Clean the house- check. made Pauly help me last night. ..... that's what you get for watching LOST without me.
7. Work on Verna's illustrations
8. Finish the Honey and Pig store
9. go to Flu's CD release party in Manchester, Ct.
10. oh maybe get some sleep since that doesn't seem to be happening now.

I'd also like to squeeze in some toe nail polish at some point.
if I do that now I will probably get really sleepy and ruin the paint job cause I pass out.
but sadly I am not tired.

When I was in college I used to go home with Rachel in the spring and I loved staying in Yarmouthport with her. It reminds me of Spring.

3 Way Calling

Remember 3 way calling?
I think the last time I used that was in fifth grade...... well I just figured out how to work it and I forced my brother and sister into a three way call. It was magical.

Some How I don't think they enjoyed it quite as much as me.

I Didn't Want it to Snow Today

I think I would like to be a hammer head shark in my next life

or maybe at least I could work at an aquarium.
Or at the very least live in Atlanta so I wouldn't have to be so very cold all winter long in Connecticut.

Plus they have the best ribs at Shane's Rib Shack.

I am currently working on online store.  I didn't even know you could have one my friend Lauren has one right HERE, called Cupcakes and Buttons.

She inspired me, besides I have truly loved cupcakes, buttons and Owls for a long time and the Little prince. so we must be soul mates.

Plus I wish it was August so I could watch Shark Week and be warm.

One of My Favorite Illustrators.

One of my favorite illustrators of all time is Arthur Rackham.....

His illustrations are so magical.

Illustrations above  from Alice in Wonderland

In one of my Illustration survey classes in college I learned that Arthur Rackham used to mix his watercolors with bleach and thats how he got those tones and how he got the bright whites was by actually bleaching parts of his paintings.
I was always so impressed by his style.

Verde Rosa........ My love

There is a boutique down the street in Woodbury called
Verde Rosa, it is the most visually stimulating store imaginable. It is in a huge barn with gorgeous hot pink curtains that you can see from the road. They are just lovely.
The ceiling is filled with every color petticoat you can think of.
Its just perfect. Verde Rosa sells vintage and new designer clothing, accessories,
jewelry and more.

I love to visit whenever possible.
